Nightshade Archery is an action archery game where you hunt enemies and solve puzzles with your bow and arrows. In each level, your basic goal is to locate the key and then use it to enter the exit door — all whilst evading deadly environmental hazards. One of the most unique gameplay locations is shooting arrows that turn into platforms enabling you to jump to higher places. Touch any enemy, and you instantly fail, so stay on your toes, and feel free to take your time with your aim. A third-person mix of combat, platforming, and strategy, those who enjoy time-to-kill archery with an emphasis on trial & error and level design to provide interactive challenges will find what they desire here.
How To Play
The left and right arrows on your screen will allow for you to move your character and the jump button will allow for you to jump either over a gap or onto your arrows if the arrows are appropriately placed. Violent progression involves firing arrows into the walls or into enemies and using these arrows stuck in the surfaces as platforms to jump off of. Blast away foes, so they don’t get too close, and keep an eye out for the hidden key necessary to open the exit door from each level. Keep in mind that you’ll need to aim perfectly and move quickly since you can only step on your own arrows, and you’ll need to avoid touching any enemies if you want to get past each cutthroat level.
